The Black Knights, (Third Battalion, 126th Infantry Division of the Michigan Army Reserve), requested a new logo to better represent the identity and mission of their company: to close in and attack the enemy. The new logo should strengthen the spirit of the infantry unit, appear intimidating to the enemy, and create a stronger sense of teamwork and unity within the company. The stencil illustration of the knight was to be kept minimal and scalable so it could be easily applied to challenge coins, cargo/crates, t-shirts, etc. An additional logo of the knights helmet was also requested after the completion of the final logo itself.
